Synopsis-
Viswanath (Rajnikanth), a brilliant lawyer and a law abiding citizen, finds himself ruthlessly victimized by GNK (Nambiar), a rich industrialist, for rubbing him the wrong way. Vishwanath was instrumental in getting his son Jagan imprisoned for life on account of Kalpana’s murder who was an employee in GNK’s office. An enraged GNK gets Viswanath’s mother killed. GNK frames Vishwanath for his own mother’s murder and sends him to jail. Vishwanth rechristens himself as V.N. and with the help of his friend Reddy (Cho), he takes on the might of GNK.
